Past perfect tense: “का प्रयोग हम कुस काम को बताने के लिए करते है जो काम past के ही किसी दुसरे काम से पहले किया गया था |

Past Perfect Tense की पहचान

Past perfect tense is identified by the use of the auxiliary verb “होना” (hona) in its past perfect form, which is “हो चुका था” (ho chuka tha) for masculine singular, “हो चुकी थी” (ho chuki thi) for feminine singular, “हो चुके थे” (ho chuke the) for plural, and corresponding forms for other genders.

For example:
– English: He had eaten.
  Hindi: उसने खाना खा लिया था (Usne khana kha liya tha).

In this example, “खा लिया था” (kha liya tha) indicates the past perfect tense.

Past perfect Tense के नियम | Rules of past perfect tense in Hindi

past Perfect Tense में वाक्य बनाने के लिए हमे Subject , had  और Verb की 3rd form की जरूरत पड़ेगी जिसको हम निचे दिए गये क्रम अनुसार लगायेगे |

1. Simple sentence: subject + had + V3 + object. + other words
2. Negative sentence: subject + had + not + V3 + object. + other words
3. Interrogative: had + subject + V3 + object. + other words?
4. Interrogative negative: had + subject + not + V3 + object. + other words?

चाहे कोई भी कारक हो, past perfect tense में सहायक क्रियावाचक शब्द हमेशा “had”  होता है।

Examples of past perfect tense

  • मैंने पढ़ाई की थी। I = had studied. 
  • तुमने पढ़ाई की थी। = You had studied. 
  • उसने पढ़ाई की थी। = He had studied. 
  • उसने पढ़ाई की थी। = She had studied. 
  • हमने पढ़ाई की थी। = We had studied. 
  • उन्होंने पढ़ाई की थी। = They had studied. 
  • इसने पढ़ाई की थी। = It had studied.

Simple sentence (सकारात्मक वाक्य) of Past Perfect Tense in hindi

1. रिया ने पढ़ाई की थी जब मैंने उससे मिली थी। 
   Ria had studied when I met her.

2. तुमने पहले नृत्य किया था। 
   You had danced earlier.

3. मेरे माता-पिता उस दिन दिल्ली गए थे। 
   My parents had gone to Delhi that day.

4. उसे मेरे आगमन का पता था। 
   He had known of my arrival.

5. उसने पहले ही बेहतर स्कोर किया था। 
   She had scored better before.

6. हमने तब तक यात्रा के लिए पैकिंग की थी। 
   We had packed for the trip by then.

7. वे पार्टी में देर से पहुँचे थे। 
   They had arrived late to the party.

   I had studied before her.

9. लड़के पार्क गए थे। 
   Boys had gone to the park.

10. मेरी माँ ने उससे पहले इसे देखा था। 
    My mother had watched it before me.

2. तुमने पहले नृत्य नहीं किया था।

Use of ” FOR / IN ” in Past Perfect Tense


In past perfect tense “for” is used to tell us about the duration of an action. In other words, it tells us for how long an action took place.
STRUCTURE
Subject + had + v3 + for + object
EXAMPLES

  1. English: Maya had gone for four hours.
    Hindi: माया चार घंटे के लिए गई थी।
  2. English: Children had played for an hour.
    Hindi: बच्चे एक घंटे खेले थे।
  3. English: I had studied for three hours in the evening.
    Hindi: मैंने शाम को तीन घंटे पढ़ाई की थी।
  4. English: My mother had cooked for two hours.
    Hindi: मेरी माँ ने दो घंटे तक खाना बनाया था।
